Getting there and around
Lying at the crossroads of Europe, the Baltic and Scandinavia, Aalborg is easy to get to and to get around in. Copenhagen is the main air traffic hub of Northern Europe and is served by some 60 international airlines, among them numerous low-budget airlines, flying non-stop from 120 cities around the world. Once you’re in Copenhagen, it only takes 45 minutes to get to Aalborg (AAL) and the city is linked to Copenhagen by approximately 40 daily flights.

If you travel by train, get off at Aalborg’s central station – you will then find yourself in the heart of Aalborg and very close to Hotel Hvide Hus where the conference is held.

Transportation from Aalborg Airport to the city center
Aalborg Airport is just a short, 10-minute drive from the city centre. To get to the city center take a taxi (app. 25-30 €/20-25 £/ 31-35 $). Most international credit cards are accepted in the taxis.

Public busses are also available. They run Mon.-Fri. every 15 min./30 min. during the day and every hour during the evening. Sat. 30 min./every hour and Sun. every hour. Find the exact and updated departure and arrival times for the public busses on the travel planner. Please note that only local currency is accepted in the bus. You can find an ATM inside the airport building.
